Mr. Aloian has served as a director of the Company since 1999. His financial and investment experience, knowledge of capital markets, and service on other public and private company boards prepare him to give the Board his perspective on real estate investment markets and financial matters. Mr. Aloian served as a partner of Almanac Realty Investors, LLC (“Almanac”) and its predecessor entities through January 31, 2020, when the firm was acquired by Neuberger Berman, a New York-based investment management firm. He now serves as a Managing Director of Neuberger Berman, where he serves as a member of the Almanac Investment Committee and plays a senior role in the on-going management of Almanac, including the origination, structuring and management of Almanac’s capital investments to public and private real estate companies. He graduated from Harvard College and received an MBA from Columbia University Graduate School of Business, where he also served as an adjunct professor.
